カーメン生涯の名盤として日本でもロング・セラーを続ける「Book of Ballads」はさておき、他の2作品は長く入手困難な状態が続いていたので、今回の復刻を心待ちにしていたボーカル・ファンは数限りないはずです。
キャップ時代のカーメンはDecca時代よりもさらに、バラード表現に深みが加わりました。
